A woman has been rescued after being buried beneath snow in a scenic spot in Hulunbuir, northern China’s Inner Mongolia. The woman was admiring the interior of an igloo when the snow structure suddenly collapsed on Monday afternoon. Local firefighters spent 20 minutes digging the woman out with shovels, before carefully clawing away snow with their bare hands after the woman’s head emerged. She was finally rescued, and suffered only minor bruises to her head.
