Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli went to the Grande hospital in Dhapasi this afternoon and took stock of the health condition of senior musician Amber Gurung. Prime Minister Oli talked to Gurung’s family members and doctors involved in his treatment and took note of Gurung’s health situation. On the occasion, the Prime Minister pledged support as much as possible on behalf of the government in the treatment of Gurung, according to Gurung’s aide Ratan Chand. Senior musician Gurung was admitted to the hospital a week ago with complications in his food pipe. He has long been ailing from diabetes, high blood pressure and Parkinson’s disease. Gurung’s health deteriorated last night, and has been put on a ventilator support.
