The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) tof Nepal Police has arrested a Bangladeshi national allegedly involved in illegal operation of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). The CIB team on Thursday arrested him from Panmandi, Birgunj. Police nabbed Bangladeshi national with various gadgets used in illegal operation of call bypass after raiding the house of Makbul Miya in Birgunj sub-metropolis-12, Panmandi. Acting on a tip off that the Bangladeshi tenant in the house of Miya, the CIB team deputed from Kathmandu recovered three machines used in call bypass, 35 Ncell IM cards, 50 NTC SIM card and re-charge cards. The identity of the Bangladeshi national has been kept secret as the police is searching for other racketeers involved in the illegal operation of VoIP.
