This video show how kids as young as six risk their lives by climbing down a 800metre cliff using just vine ladders to get to school. The pupils have to learn how to use the 17 vine ladders from a very young age as part of their dangerous morning commute. Eight residents have lost their lives clambering down the ravine in what has been dubbed "cliff village" or Atule'er, south west China. The journey has become so lethal children now stay in dormitories at their school and only return home to see their parents every fortnight. Children from the remote Atule’er village in Sichuan province must risk their lives to get to and from school as they cautiously navigate the precarious cliff. Video show the ‘cliff village’ children clambering up and down dangerous vine ladders as they navigate the 800m cliff.
